Already have plans for Easter holidays?

We are all longing for the Easter holidays to arrive and especially the people who live far from the beach, look for new options that offer them rest, fun and above all, that are not crammed with tourists.

In San Blas, Riviera Nayarit, we pride ourselves on the great variety of attractions we count on, due to the immense natural riches that abound in this coastal municipality. Here are some of the most interesting spots:

1) Tecuitata and El Salto del Cora

Nothing better to forget the stress of the city, than to venture into the lush jungle of Tecuitata finding beautiful streams to take a refreshing dip, which will reconnect you with your inner peace. The beautiful Salto del Cora waterfall will be the best scenery.

2) The history at Contaduria Mountain

From the top of Mt. San Basil, you will have a spectacular panoramic view of the whole port of San Blas and its charming surroundings; The cannons of the old Fort, will allow you to imagine the greatness with which this important bastion of the Spanish Crown was founded.

3) La Tovara National Park

Perhaps the best known corner of San Blas and, well deserved! As this amazing network of canals lead you through an unequaled adventure between estuaries and mangroves, visiting the educational Kiekari crocodile farm and the locations of the film “Cabeza de Baca”, if you do not come to La Tovara, you will definitely have to return to San Blas.

4) The Huichol Sanctuary in Paraje del Rey

The Wixárika culture and its millenary cosmogony, has in San Blas the western tip of the “Kúpuri” or “Eye of God”, which means that it is one of the most sacred places for this important ethnic group and it is possible to visit them if you take a short boat trip to the fantastic Isla del Rey, a romantic place by nature.

5) Beaches, beaches and more beaches
