The International Festival of Migratory Birds of San Blas, Nayarit contributes and strengthens the preservation of the habitat of migratory birds of the region and the improvement of the community’s quality of life, by being involved it in the conservation of its environment.

The event is organized by the International Migratory Bird Festival of San Blas board, a non-profit organization.

Routes for bird watching have been designed within the context of the festival. Over 13 years, more than 1,500 birdwatchers have experienced observing, documenting and photographing the more than 400 species of birds registered in the Municipality of San Blas.
