The National Preservation Week by the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONANP) is held annually to recognize and celebrate the importance of our protected areas, such as taking measures to ensure the conservation of these places. You are invited to participate in the interesting events organized by the San Blas Isla Isabel National Park along with Peace Corps Mexico.

Daily

9 am – 6 pm · · Photographic Exhibition “The fauna of protected natural areas of Nayarit” by the Islands Ecology and Conservation Group (House of Culture).
9 am – 6 pm · · Photographic Exhibition “Amphibian Nayarit” by Prof. Victor H. Luja (Autonomous University of Nayarit and Save the Frogs! Nayarit) (House of Culture).

11 am – 3pm · · Share experiences Resource Management by Natupekes (Las Islitas in the mangrove area between 1st and 2nd section of the Ramadas).
4 – 7 pm · · Eco-fair featuring: Uumbali, Ecologízate al 100, Natupekes, CONAFOR, La Papalota, CONANP Isla Isabel, Kiekari Crocodile Farm, Platanitos Ecological Beach , Tepic Ecological Park Camp, EntreAmigos (Main Square).

Sunday, October 30th

8 am-3pm · · Jaguares bike ride (Departing from Main Square)
* Route: San Blas – Crocodile Farm – La Palma – Aticama – Matanchen – San Blas
* Parts of the route will be on difficult roads and paths, mountain bike is required. Bring water, sunscreen, bugs repellent, helmet, patches, camera, pump, first aid, music.
