This region has been a cornerstone in each of the historical stages of our country\u2019s culture: <\/span>The origin of life at Haramara<\/b><\/a>, the mythical <\/span>island of Mexcaltit\u00e1n<\/b><\/a>, the most important trading port between New Spain and Far East during <\/span>Colonial<\/b><\/a> times until now being part of the <\/span>Riviera Nayarit<\/b>, the main tourist destination in the Mexican Pacific.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also called the <\/span>“Birds Paradise<\/a>“<\/b>, San Blas is home to many endemic species, also there are two <\/span>National Parks<\/b><\/a> in the surroundings: La Tovara and Santa Isabel Island. It is also the perfect home for <\/span>crocodiles<\/b><\/a>, <\/span>sea turtles<\/b><\/a>,<\/a> whale sharks and many more.<\/span><\/p>\n
