In the magical port of <\/span>San Blas<\/b>, we have an excellent climate and fertile lands that give us \u00a0plenty of <\/span>agricultural resources<\/b>, thanks to this, we can share with our visitors some of the finest tropical fruits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who has not enjoyed a refreshing <\/span>hibiscus water<\/b> at lunch or a good <\/span>capomo coffee<\/b> to accompany dessert? It is likely that the next you try have grown up in this beautiful soil.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since ancient times, humans have taken advantage of the benefits of this region, which is why in the surroundings of San Blas have flourished various ethnic groups that have mostly grown <\/span>beans, tomatoes, corn, rice <\/b>and <\/span>sorghum<\/b>, which are still nowadays, the elementary food for local people, along with fish and seafood.<\/span><\/p>\n

These basic agricultural species also contribute largely to the town’s economy given the importance of trade; industrial species such as <\/span>cotton, coffee, hibiscus<\/b> and <\/span>peanuts<\/b> have also helped the exchange of these goods, today it\u2019s the most valuable activity after agriculture.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the fruits of San Blas are the showiest, because fortunately our soils produce exotic species like <\/span>jackfruit<\/b><\/a>, which provides several health benefits, as well as the sweet <\/span>guanabana<\/b>, ideal for ice cream; <\/span>pineapple<\/b> for preparing the unique <\/span>tepache<\/b><\/em> and many others.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the most special fruit throughout the <\/span>Riviera Nayarit <\/b>is <\/span>coconut,<\/b> you can enjoy a fantastic freshly poured coconut water and its fleshy pulp prepared with salt, lemon and chilli. We are confident that when you get to San Blas it will be the first thing you could possibly want!<\/span><\/p>\n

Some other highlights are the <\/span>mango<\/b> production for <\/span>mangoneadas<\/i><\/b>, <\/span>plums<\/b> to spice up the famous <\/span>raspados<\/i><\/b> or Mexican smoothies, <\/span>papaya<\/b> for breakfast and we cannot fail to mention the most important ingredient in <\/span>banana bread<\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
