As many already know, the beaches of San Blas have been recognized internationally for its beauty and special charm for beginner surfers, besides having one of the longest waves in the world<\/strong><\/a> according to the Guinness Records.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This time, we tell you how to get to Platanitos Beach<\/strong>, located less than an hour away from the port, heading south towards the town of Las Varas<\/strong>. Leaving San Blas, we must go through all the Matanchen tourist corridor<\/strong><\/a>, Aticama & Los Cocos Beach<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and Santa Cruz de Miramar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A few kilometers later, you will arrive to this beautiful beach, which is said to be the birthplace of “zarandeado fish”<\/strong>, one of the most representative dishes of the Riviera Nayarit<\/strong>.<\/a> You definitely cannot miss the opportunity to try it, in one of the traditional palapa style restaurants you find there.<\/p>\n

For the curious who have always been concerned about learning how to surf<\/strong><\/a>, maybe not in a professional way, but funny enough to never forget this experience, there are several surf schools where you will be patiently instructed.<\/p>\n

It is important to know that this activity requires some effort and not all people are able to stand on the table at the first attempt, it may cost you a few slight falls to achieve balance, so do not despair and enjoy the adrenalin!<\/p>\n

It should be noted that this is one of the Certified Clean Beaches in Nayarit State<\/strong>, which makes it an ideal place to relish with your family or friends.
