How to get to San Blas?

The beautiful port of San Blas is located in the Mexican Pacific coast 62 kms. northwest of the city of Tepic, Nayarit state capital, there are several options to get to this magical place, it all depends on your place of origin. Welcome!

If you come by road from Guadalajara, Mexico City or any of the cities in the Bajio region, we recommend arriving to Tepic through highway No. 15 and once there, take State Highway 76 to Santa Cruz de Miramar via Jalcocotán.

Currently, the direct highway from Tepic to San Blas is under construction, which will reduce travel time considerably and is expected to be ready before the end of this year 2016. Remember that in Nayarit it is one hour less than the center of the country, therefore, the distance from Guadalajara is about 4 hours.

If you visit us from Mazatlan or any city in the neighboring state of Sinaloa and the rest of northwestern Mexico, you must take Highway 15 south and deviate on State Road 74; from Puerto Vallarta, you should take Highway 200 towards Tepic and reach the town of Las Varas, then turn left on state 16 heading to Zacualpan.
